On the Watertown Seal is a picture of an English Colonist and an Indian exchanging, as peace tokens,  bread for fish.  Captain Roger Clap landed at Nantasket Point in 1630 and rode up Charles River to Gerry's Landing with the first party of Watertown Colonists.

    THE SHINE PROGRAM (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) is a free service funded by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs to help answer your health insurance, and prescription medication coverage questions. SHINE volunteers are trained and certified to provide seniors with free confidential counseling by appointment. Our SHINE volunteer is at the Senior Center once a week on Wednesdays.   2. Arsenal Yards Community Meeting - Phase 2 of Master Plan

    May 31, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM @ The meeting will be held at the “Innovation Space” at the Mall. Park and enter near the Old Navy store

    Phase 2 – Building B Final Site Plan Approval Boylston Properties and The Wilder Companies will be holding a Community Meeting to review Phase 2 of the Arsenal Yards master plan. The purpose of this meeting will be to present and discuss the final layout and design of Building B, and discuss the operation of the property during construction. Building B is located on the western end of the site, adjacent to the HVMA lot, and contains retail, a parking structure, and hotel. The Community Meeting will be held on May 31, 2017 from 6:30-8:30 PM.
